3 letters, in the first two letters Frances talks about if she consents to the marriage of Lucy and Winthrop H. Phelps. The second letter is almost a copy of the first, due to the first never reaching Winthrop. In the third letter, Frances talks about her health, the health of family members, visits from friends, a flood, and what she is producing in the garden. She also talks about Lucy moving into a new home on a farm.
