2 letters, in the first letter Samuel writes about hearing of the death of his son, receiving his son’s body, the funeral, and thanks Winthrop for the kindness he has shown to his family. In the second letter, Samuel thanks Winthrop again for his kindness and responds to an inquiry made by Winthrop about information of schools. Included with this letter is an advertisement for a school run by W.F. Grant.
