Letter to George C. Woodruff in Litchfield from Attorneys Edwards & Man in New York concerning the title to some land in New York that once belonged to Lieut. John Stoughton who died intestate in 1768. His daughter Elizabeth married Oliver Wolcott and the attorneys seek information concerning the age of Elizabeth.
