Scope and Contents
Certificates of disability for exemption from military duty for Litchfield men from the Post Surgeons of Litchfield County to the Selectmen of the Town of Litchfield. Some of the Surgeons are H.W. Buel, Miles J. Beach, and Charles O. Belden. Each has the name of a man and his disability. The disabilites meet the standards set by the Surgeon General.
