Scope and Contents
Due bills and notes payable in cash, certificates, or goods from Daniel and Elijah Boardman's store. Several pertain to deeds including one receipt dated 1791 Dec 22 indicates that Cornelius Hamlin has given a note to Daniel and Elijah Boardman for which they are to execute a deed to him for a quarter of a house belonging to them in Washington. A receipt dated 1791 Jul 7 contains a list of Connecticut Soldier Notes received from Col. J. Starr. A receipt from 1791 March 12 documents two tickets sold to James Leach and Jamima Leach for the Hartford Woolen Manufactory Lottery.
