Sub-Series 3.1.1.1.
Scope and Contents
William Henry Rees writes to Cornelia E. Boardman on 25 April 1856 from near Bridgeport, PA, noting receipt of her letter which was detained in Bridgeport, CT. Rees encourages Cornelia to visit and says he would like to meet her at the opening of the convention in Philadelphia. He reports on his poor health and asthma attacks an asks her to inform the doctor that he has the breathing apparatus and says he would be glad to get a prescription from the doctor as the combination of potash and morphine he has been relying on is losing efficacy. Rees also provides a description of the church he pastors.
