Scope and Contents
Unsigned letter written from "Seminary" dated December 30, 1939 to Cornelia E. Boardman. Author says he will defend himself against charges that he is neglecting his friends. Although he knew of Dr. Schroeder's presence, he delayed visiting until his family and Cornelia had arrived. Explains why he mistakenly believed Cornelia had gone home to New Milford; he delayed sending money he owed her hoping to return it personaly. Gives details of walking through a blizzard. Notes that he is a "perfect boy" and that he will send $10 to her if she wishes.
