First of two folders of bills and receipts for goods and services purchased by Cornelia E. Boardman in 1854. 38 receipts from New Milford, New York, and Bridgeport, including some which are partially illegible due to water damage. Items listed include food; lumber; dividends; candles; a subscription to the "Horticulturalist" and the "Churchman"; dress making; seed; paint; books; a coffin; textiles; a piano stool; town taxes; jewelry; transportation of goods from Bridgeport ad New York; and mourning goods.
