Cornelia E. Boardman writes to her mother Mary Anna Whiting from St. Ann's Hall, a girl's school run by John Frederick Schroeder. Mr. Davis is going to Bridgeport Saturday so Cornelia takes the opportunity to write; they are all well; sister Betsey and all the children went with her into the city today; Caroline took Nele to Mr. Parmely where she had "three teeth extracted without one word or a sigh;" cousin Fred got the money from the bank; dined at the Franklin House where Mr. T. would not allow "Sis to pay a thing;" had a letter from Eliza who is heartbroken and in miserable health;
