Cornelia E. Boardman writes to her sister Caroline Boardman Schroeder thanking her for her letter and expressing excitement that Caroline and her family are to visit. Laments that the strawberries and roses are presently in their prime and hopes to save some for their visit; describes various plants; gives news of health of friends; asks Caroline to burn the letter and excuse her haste.
