Five notebooks, labeled "Gould's Lectures" on spine, consisting of George C. Woodruff's notes taken during law school lectures. Volume I: Municipal Law, Domestic Relations, Contracts, Bailments, Sheriffs and Tailors. Volume II: Actions, Writs, Executors and Administrators, [Notice?] and Request, Assumpsit. Volume III: Bills of Exchange, Insurance, Partnership, Arbitrament and Award, Usury, Criminal Law, Practice in Connecticut. Volume IV: Pleadings, Bills of Exchange, Writs of Error, New Trials, Evidence. Volume V: Real Property and Estates in Possession, Remainder, and Reversion; Estates upon Condition; Possession; Conditional Mortgages; Notice; Servalty; Joint Tenancy, Copercenary, and Common; Deeds; Execution; Devises; Fraudulent Conveyences; Trespass Quare Clausum Fregit; Ejectment; Waste; Powers of Chancery.
