Five letters: one from Henry Floyd Tallmadge to his sister Maria (Tallmadge) Cushman, and four from John Paine Cushman to Benjamin Tallmadge.
Henry Floyd Tallmadge's letter reports on the illness of Benjamin Tallmadge and the treatment of his wound by the doctor. The letter begins with a note from Tallmadge's wife, Maria (Hallett) Tallmadge, on the same subject.
Cushman's letters discuss financial matters, including mortgages and Tallmadge's debtor Martin Clapp; and thank Tallmadge for his recent financial gift to the Cushmans.
