Bills, receipts and correspondence from wholesale merchants Reed & Lee in New York to Harrison & Parmelee, merchants in Litchfield. Goods purchased by the latter include snuff, soap, raisins, tea, rice, coffee, and brandy. Bags of coffee are sent via the New Haven packet. Harrison & Parmelee shipped casks of cheese for Reed & Lee to sell, for which there is are accounts that include purchasers, cooperage, shipping & storage costs.
