Scope and Contents

Bills, receipts and correspondence from wholesale merchant J. Nicholson in New Haven to Elihu Harrison in Litchfield South Farms from merchandise including tea, brandy, and brooms. Harrison pays by cash and geese feathers. In a letter of July 12, 1824, Nicholson answers Harrison's letter in regard to sending pork to New Haven and that it must be inspected and branded in New Haven.
