Abstract "An Eulogy on Alexander Metcalf Fisher," 1998-41-0, is a printed pamphlet of a eulogy delivered on June 26, 1822 at the Yale College Chapel, delivered by James L. Kingsley. Inside the cover is written in ink the name, "Lydia Dillwyn." On page 19 there is a handwritten note in pencil which reads, "Prof. Kingsley has (very properly) omitted to state the fact his lamented colleague was engaged to be married to an interesting young woman of Litchfield, Connecticut and that in the will he left...

Flament, Charles A. (2015-75-0) Photograph 5"x7" (in civilian clothes), and certificate 8"x10", for recognition of service in the Armed Forces, signed by President Lyndon B. Johnson. Certificate was mailed to his widow, Emma Flament twenty years after his death.

Scope and Contents

The Emily Carter Foord journal (2011-23-0) contains a variety of entries from the years ca.1830-1851. Included are many artistic sketches, poems and verses, an essay about Anglican priest and missionary Henry Martyn, cookie recipes, and geneaological information concerning Emily, her husband Alvin Foord, and their children. Also of interest is an entry discussing the life and death of Emily's infant son William Carter Foord.

Scope and Contents The Corydon L. Ford notebook (2011-33-0) contains genealogical information about the Ford/ Foord family. Dr. Corydon L. Ford began collecting the information in 1853. Along with the vast amounts of handwritten genealogy are some later newspaper clippings, as well as sketches of the the gravestones of William Foord and his wife Sarah dingley Foord at Marshfield, Massachusetts and Joseph Ford and his wife Lois Stetson Ford at Center Pembroke, Massachusetts.
