Custodial History

The item was, according to information on the folder, originally housed with an account book, but these two items had been separated. Upon examining both the index and the original account book it does appear they are unrelated. The index was moved into a separate folder with another anonymous index, but it cannot be determined if the two indexes are related. So, the two indexes have been moved into separate folders and removed from oversized boxes into small acquisitions. Each index has also been given a new separate accession number since it cannot be determined when the items were donated.
