Anonymous blacksmithing account book
00-1972-109-3
Scope and Contents
Anonymous Blacksmithing Account Book (1972-109-3) is an account book used to keep the records for an anonymous blacksmith. The book is organized chronologically, and the entries included the name of the customer, sometimes a description of the job, and the price. The book appears to have been used as a scrapbook because several of the pages are in very bad condition. There are holes and rips, and there appears to be remnant of newspaper clippings of the scrapbook left on the pages; in some places the print can be read. This causes several of the opening pages to be mostly unable to be read. The item is housed in 3B Box 1.
