Biographical / Historical
Joshua Huntington Wolcott (1804-1891) attended Sarah Pierce's Litchfield Female Academy in 1817 and 1819 in his hometown of Litchfield, CT. He was the son of Frederick and Betsey Huntington Wolcott. During his adult life, Joshua worked as a merchant in Boston and married twice, both wives having the last name Frothingham. [Source: The Litchfield Ledger]
