These Household Accounts, 2007-11-0, were kept by Elizabeth Laura Hathaway Kay of Burlington, Connecticut in 1941. She kept records of grocery, clothing, gas and oil, miscellaneous, bread, meat and sugar expensese every week, then totaled them up monthly from January through December 1941. The records are handwritten on three-ring ruled paper. Elizabeth Laura Hathaway Kay was born in 1909 in Massachusetts. She married John Francis Kay (born 1900) and they had at least two children, John (1929-2012) and Lorrane T.
