The Dutton Base Ball Club record book (2011-39-0) contains the scoring records for baseball games played between 1867-1871 by the Dutton Base Ball Club of the town of Litchfield, which was organized in 1867. Other teams with scoring records represented in the book include Dexter, Empire, Aetna, Active, Oriental, Red Cap, Dutton Jr., Dutton Second Nine, and the Gunnery. Of particular interest is the scoring for the game on August 18, 1870 between Dutton and Empire. This game is noted as being "A game for the Championship of Litchfield County." Item is currently housed in 3A Box 30.
