Bills, receipts and correspondence from Hotchkiss, Hall & Co. in New Haven, Conn. to Messrs. Harrison and Parmelee in Litchfield. Merchandise purchased by the latter includes sugar, salt, molasses, segars, candles, codfish, herring, rum, raisins. Payment was made by cash and tubs of butter. In July 1826, the firm name changed to Hotchkiss & Hall.
