Distribution of the estate of Daniel Shelton [Sheldon] by the probate court Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut. His widow Elizabeth was also deceased by the date of the distribution. Their sons -Thadeus, Joseph, Daniel, Samuel, James, and Josiah - inherited the personal and real estate including two "Negro" men and a woman. Daniel Shelton died in 1728.
