This sub-series contains a variety of miscellaneous items created by various Thompson family members. Items of note include George W. Thompson’s Copy Book and Memorandum Book, and a variety of literary compositions.

The George William Thomspon memorandum book (2011-86-0) was kept in 1868. "G.W. Thomspon Litchfield, Conn" is written on the front cover of the small leather bound notebook. The book contains various groupsings of words under the heading such as "Miscellaneous", "Jewelers Table", "Jaw Breakers", "Names of Trees", and "Vegetables".

The George W. Thompson Copy Book Collection (2011-82-0) contains two separate copy books. They both cover mathematical concepts. The first book covers concepts such as measurements, division, and simple addition. The second book appears to cover more complex mathematical concepts such as square and cube roots. The two books are housed under the same collection in Small Acquisitions, but they are in separate folders.
