The George William Thomspon memorandum book (2011-86-0) was kept in 1868. "G.W. Thomspon Litchfield, Conn" is written on the front cover of the small leather bound notebook. The book contains various groupsings of words under the heading such as "Miscellaneous", "Jewelers Table", "Jaw Breakers", "Names of Trees", and "Vegetables".
