Promissory notes pertaining to the Connecticut Western Reserve including one dated 1805 Jan 12 from Beach Summers who is to deliver ninety five pairs of shoes, seventy two scythes, four pitchforks, and forty four yards and five eights of a yard of homemade fulled flannel, and fifty pounds of cut nails to Eli Baldwin in Trumbull Ohio. Another dated 1805 Feb 15 details land conveyances in Trumbull County Ohio.

They include authorization for Boardman to collect subscritpions and donations for the bishop's fund; several letters to Philo Ruggles regarding collection of debts in New York; a land conveyance for land in Vermont to be paid in cattle. Notes from Elijah Boardman payable in cash or goods from his store. The reverse of the wrapper says "Warren Farm Notes" but there are other items in the folder including one regarding conveyance of land in Delaware County, New York. One is a list of labor from Palmer Farm in Warren, Connecticut. Another, dated 1817 Mar 28 refers to "a Deed of E. Boardman's Farm in Warren."
