Built in 1849 by GIdeon Hollister for Mrs. Mary Brisbane. The architect was Allan Jackson Downing. Mrs. Beeman & Mrs. Hollister resided there in 1849. Owned in 1874 and 1900 by William H. Braman. Floyd Lewis & Jane (Cunningham) Vanderpoel owned the house in 1914. Later owned by Emily Noyes Vanderpoel. Known also as Trickhouse.
