The Plumb family papers (2006-03-0, 1.13 linear feet) consists primarily of personal papers relating to Frederick B. Plumb, Jr. (1913-2002) and his wife Marian Newton Plumb (1917-2003). Also included are items related to Frederick B. Plumb, Sr. (b.1878) and his wife Rena Plumb (1882-1975). The papers consist of tax receipts, account books, blueprints, and several certificates of achievement. Many items are related to The Grange and other agricultural groups.

Second Episcopal Society Account Book and John Kilborn's Day Book

An account Book (1907-18-0) was partially used by Bishop Silvanus to record the accounts of the Second Episcopal Society. The volume also contains the title, "John Kilborn’s Day Book.” The Episcopal Society accounts recorded include expenses such as work on the steeple. John Kilborn's day book records matters such as silk and tobacco. The item is currently housed in 3B Box 110.

Hiram S. Spencer Ledger

The Hiram S. Spencer Ledger collection (2011-35-0) is a personal account book that was used by Hiram S. Spencer. The book has records of money received and given ranging from purchasing wagon irons to receiving money for “five days works haying.” Spencer served in Company A, Second Regiment, C.V. Heavy Artillery, from 1862-65, but there are no Civil War expenditures or notations in the ledger. Currently housed in 3A Box 22.
