Collection — Box: 1
Identifier: 00-1973-76-12
Scope and Contents
The Wadsworth, Bradley & Co. Account Book (1973-76-12) is a large accounting book kept by the Wadsworth, Bradley & Co. papermaking company. The book was maintained from 1812 to 1821. The entries are cryptic; they contain the name of another person, a customer perhaps, and then a series of numbers and the price. Research at the historical society has found that this company maintained paper mills and made paper, but what these numbers mean is unsure.
