The minute book for Litchfield 14th school district (1982-25-0) contains meeting minutes from Oct. 16, 1828 to Sept. 1879 with election of officers, accounts, laying school tax, hiring teachers, determination of school sessions, building a new school in 1866, and other business. The school was known as South Plains School. Currently housed in 3A Box 30.
