Emerette Colt Strong autograph album
Scope and Contents The Emerette Colt Strong autograph album (1972-127-1) contains autographs and verses from fellow classmates at the Connecticut State Normal School in New Britain during the years 1860 and 1861. The album also contains yearly lists of Sunday School students that Mrs. Strong later taught; presumably at the Congregational Church in Winsted, where she was a member. Joseph E. Hopkins notebook
Scope and Contents The Joseph E. Hopkins notebook (1956-33-0) contains handwritten notes on the history of the district east of Northfield, Connecticut extending to the Naugatuck River. The notebook was created in 1955 by Joseph E. Hopkins. In addition to general history of the area, the notebook also contains information about the Hopkins family during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
