The "Canterbury" Music Book collection (1975-97-76) is a small music book. It is unbound and has numbered pages; some pages are missing. The book begins on page six with a song entitled "Canterbury" with parts for Treble, Tenor and Bass.

Scope and Contents The Hallelujah music book (2011-64-0) by Lowell Mason was published in 1854 by Mason Brothers. The music book contains tunes, chants, and anthems for both church choirs and congregations to be used in church services. Also included in the first half of the book is a section titled "The Singing School." Harp of The South (1929-19-0) by I.B. Woodbury was published by Mason Brothers in 1853. The collection of church music contains standard tunes and new music of the time by I.B. Woodbury. Also represented in the volume are compositions by Mason, Hastings, Bradbury, Woodbury, and other popular American and Foreign composers. The item is currently housed in 3A Box 17.

The Garry H. Minor Music Book (2011-113-0) is a music book owned by Garry H. Minor. The first couple of pages contain theoretical information but the majority contains vocal music written for a tenor.

A small 25 page music book. The date of the book is unknown and the there is no sort of title to the book; it is hand written. Songs that can be found in the book include "Auld Lang Syne," "Irish Washer Woman," and "Blue Bells of Scotland." There is a table of contents of the songs at the beginning of the book.

The Three Part Choir Book (2011-80-0) is a collection of hymns Znd songs for three parts; the parts are labeled for each song.

Scope and Contents The Tyrolea Music Book (2011-79-0) is a collection of music. Inside the front cover is a watercolor with a banner with the word, “Tyrolea.” Tyrolea is the name of a club that existed at Yale; founded in 1854 and lasted for about five years.  Because of the anonymous nature of this item it is difficult to claim if the book was actually produced for the club. The Dr. Watts Music Book collection (1794-1820) is a music book containing hymns and other songs. A few pages at the beginning and end of the book containing hand written music, but must of the book contains music that was printed. Songs include “Old Hundred” (printed) and “Portuguese hymn” (hand-written).
