Biography

Hiram Gross Kilbourn was born in Bradleyville, Litchfield, Connecticut in 1814 to Putnam and Catherine Bishop Kilbourn. He married Harriet Moulthrop in 1840, with whom he had two children. Following her death in 1850, he married Adelia Barns in 1851, with whom he had three children. He worked as a farmer.
