Biography
Charlot Partridge was born July 26, 1814 in Knox, NY to Alman Partridge and Nancy Beeman Partridge. He married Catherine Jane Lewis in 1841. They had five children. In his early life, he worked as a schoolteacher in various towns throughout New York State. He died in Candor, Tioga County, NY, in 1867.

Kilbourn family correspondence, primarily of Hiram Kilbourn. There are several letters from Kilbourn to his second wife, Adelia E. Barnes Kilbourn as well as descriptions of his farm in Bethelehem. Numerous letters from Charlot Partridge to Hiram Kilbourn describe his work as a teacher in various schools in New York state. Partridge addresses Kilbourn as "cousin."
