From the Sub-Series:
This sub-series consists of correspondence to and from William H. Thompson. Though they are split into the categories of business and personal, there may be some overlap between the two categories as some of the people William was doing business with were also friends and neighbors. Often business matters appear in otherwise personal letters. Much of the correspondence is to and from Litchfield and Georgia, where William conducted business.
