Letters and postcards from various people. Some are about purchasing publications. Letter mentions a girl EHT took in-could this be Christina mentioned in other letters? One letter to Elizabeth Lilynn (This might not be spelling) who has same PO box as EHT and letter mentioned "Miss Esther". Some empty envelopes, one addressed to EHT, another to Rev. E. C. Starr of Cornwall CT-Wrote one of the letters (addressed to a Miss Roberts but sent to EHT) asking about the Robert's family.

This sub-series contains the manuscripts, notes, and published writings created by Esther H. Thompson on a variety of topics relating to the history of Litchfield. Some items of note are her childhood memory of troops mustering on the town green during the Civil War and the discussion of slaves in town, particularly the case of William Grimes.
