Scope and Contents The Phebe F. Benton school book (2011-91-0) was kept in 1855. The book contains notes kept on history lessons that Phebe received whle attending school in Litchfield. Her sister Jane attended school at the same time. The notebook also contains a list of pupils in her class, and identifies the teacher as S.H. Vaill.

Scope and Contents A handwritten notebook with the title "The Materia Medica & Pharmacopoia of the Philadelphia Dispensary". Four different names can be deciphered including that of William Buel, a doctor in Sheffield, (Mass.) for 20 years, who moved to Litchfield in 1815-1816. The back cover also includes the name of William Williams, Sheffield.

Scope and Contents The Railroad surveying notebooks (2011-76-0) consist of three notebooks kept during the surveying for a proposed railway line from Kelso, Washington to Knappton, Washington in 1890 and 1891. The notebooks do not indicate who the surveyor was, or for what railway company the survey was being completed. These may be a Camp Columbia student's class assignment. The items are currently housed in 3A Box 22.
