The Buell and Wheeler prescription book (1972-135-0) was maintained from 1876 through 1879. The book contains prescriptions that were filled at the pharmacy of Buell and Wheeler in Litchfield, Connecticut. Crutch's Pharmacy Prescription Book (2012-08-0) contains 8-10 prescription forms per page (glued on), beginning with prescription #142995/December 17, 1913 and ending with #146624/December 3, 1914. The Maria Tallmadge Cushman home remedies notebook (1949-39-0) was compiled by Maria Tallmadge Cushman from the year 1840 through 1864. A handwritten notebook with the title "The Materia Medica & Pharmacopoia of the Philadelphia Dispensary". Four different names can be deciphered including that of William Buel, a doctor in Sheffield, (Mass.) for 20 years, who moved to Litchfield in 1815-1816. The back cover also includes the name of William Williams, Sheffield.
