Jane (Loring) Gray's letters to her aunt Mary Pierce, who lived in Litchfield, Conn. Jane lived in Boston and was the daughter of Charles Greely Loring and Anna (Brace) Loring.She married Asa Gray in 1848 and lived in The Botanic Garden in Cambridge.
